Oh the hard part 6-8-2009

So this is the hard part!

My boyfriend of almost 5yrs and I have broken up and i need to get rid of all that reminds me of him. Hmm, but he is really making that hard for me. He wants me to stop calling him but he keeps calling and for what, just to say some hurtful ass things. Im so done with him. HE DOESN'T DESERVE ME!!!!!

One of the things that I have acquire in our long relationship is 80 pounds of fat. Yes, I said 80. Dont get me wrong, I was happy for a lot of those years and I guess i just got really comfortable. When I first got with him I was a VERY healthy size 14-16. I mean I worked out everyday, I could do 2hrs of cardio a day. I was in shape and now I can barely do 10 minutes of cardio.

Now I wear sizes 22-24. I know, I have let myself go. So this is what Im going to blog about. Im going to blog about my journey to lose those 80+ pounds and how Im going to mend my broken heart in the process. How Im going to rediscover the person I am and should be. I haven't finished school bc I let him be a distraction for me. I have lost myself as an individual and I have only known myself as ME with Him. I do have a few things that are going to make this battle hard though.

I do have PCOS, for those of you that dont know what it is, it's Polycystic Ovary Syndrome http://www.4woman.gov/faq/polycystic-ovary-syndrome.cfm.Polycystic (pah-lee-SIS-tik) ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a health problem that can affect a woman's menstrual cycle, ability to have children, hormones, heart, blood vessels, and appearance. With PCOS, women typically have:
high levels of androgens (AN-druh-junz). These are sometimes called male hormones, although females also make them.
missed or irregular periods
many small cysts (sists) in their ovaries. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs.
I was actually diagnose with it a few years back but haven't done what I need to do to control it, but thats going to change. My obgyn gave me a medication called metformin, its suppose affect the way insulin controls blood glucose (sugar) and lowers testosterone production. Which helps women lose weight. I have tried over and over again to take this medication but it just makes me so sick. My doc said that last about 2-3 weeks but i never get that far. Not anymore, Im starting it today and I am so determine to lose this weight.

So these are my goals...
1. FORGET THE BASTARD. HE IS NO GOOD.
2. START ON MY MEDICATION- METFORMIN
3. START EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISING
4. DO ME FOR ONCE
5. GET MYSELF TOGETHER AND START LOOKING INTO WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO FINISH SCHOOL.
